Data Analytics Specialist (Contracting)

Here in Tower Insurance, as a member of the Data and Analytics team, I’m contributing to an initiative focused on analyzing and mapping New Zealand’s address data from providers such as eSpatial and CoreLogic.

Key Contributions:

• Advocating for Power BI best practices to enhance report consistency and usability.
• Supporting agile practices and Scrum ceremonies to foster team collaboration.
• Modelling datasets for process monitoring and data quality reporting.
• Creating Snowflake SQL queries to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Assessed the business impact of changes in address data on existing processes and reports.
• Analyzing business scenarios where new, more accurate, addresses data may improve customer experience and their insurance premiums.
