As a BI Consultant part of the Data Team that fits into a major initiative, the Digital Transformation, my activities have a wide scope in IAG starting with Business and Data Analysis to identify the current state of processes and projects related to data engineering, evaluating the performance of existing development, meeting with stakeholder from different departments and in-house representatives of external partners to understand their data needs, carrying on with new data and reporting requests and identifying and proposing improvements.
A parallel path of my activities is to analyze the internal business processes and helping the team to adopt more efficient ways of work following Agile methodologies, like tailoring the Scrum ceremonies to our evolving needs, best practices on SSIS and T-SQL development and the implementation of a branching strategy to use with GIT (Bitbucket) repositories.
