Within NXP I had a mixed role serving as Team Leader, business analyst, BI analyst and BI developer using mainly Microsoft BI technologies for the Supply Chain area; as Team Leader, I worked directly with the senior business analysts for the Business Operations and Customer Service Organizations.
The activities of my day to day were Requirements Gathering and Management, Control change management, analyzing data and information sources and flow, planing deliverables like estimations of ROI, writing SQL queries, developing solutions for Advanced Reporting based on SharePoint, Excel (Excel services, PowerPivot, PowerQuery) and the SQL Server applications’ stack like modelling and implementing and maintaining existing ETL/Data Integration processes and cubes, design and implementation of internal processes like communication, development and best practices, Technical and Business Documentation; additionally, I was in charge of the administration of our own instance of SharePoint, SQL Server (Transactional and Multidimensional) and JIRA, our issue tracking system and, train new hires and sibling teams when needed.
